This was an “up-cycling” project. I had this hand coffee mill for over 10 years but it wasn’t comfortable to hold while grinding and it wasn’t easy to transfer the coffee powder from the original rectangular compartment. So I attempted to make it functionally easier to use. I used the butter nut wood and designed a coffee powder “collector part” in a scooper design. The resulting round body shape was more comfortable to hold and the scoop design was much easier to transfer the coffee powder! An up-cycling success!
