The original piece of wood had a very rough edge when I bought it. When I glued two pieces together, the edge became more unique and I felt compelled to keep it as-is. Given the rough and uniqueness of the piece, it needed something to smooth it out. My initial plan was to add a layer of Epoxy. While imperfect, I’m happy with the way this piece turned out!
