I had never worked with Wenge wood before coming to Canada. I can’t say that dark wood is my favourite, but when I saw the Wenge wood, I wanted to try working with it. I just love the outcome! It has a unique, ‘espresso’ dark colouring and texture. Due to its texture, it is used best as a serving board, cheese board or dish. Wenge wood has become one of my favorite woods to work with!
