This piece was was one of my ‘scrap wood’ projects. I had kept a Pine scrap around that had been sitting neglected in my bin for a while. One day, after grocery shopping and purchasing a dozen eggs, the idea of creating a wooden egg container came to mind!

Luckily, the width of the Pine piece was just enough and I added Walnut handles also from scrap to make it easier to grip and safer to transport. Wouldn’t you agree this is a beautiful alternative to recycled paper? The eggs simply shine on display here!
